Cookie policy
Contraste attaches great importance to your privacy and the protection of your personal data. In this cookie policy, we explain how we process the personal data we collect through cookies, what we do with it and how we handle it. We believe it is important to create and maintain an environment in which users of our online environment can be confident that their information will not be misused.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that contain small pieces of information and store information, such as your language preference, when you visit our website. These cookies are stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit our website. Cookies may contain personally identifiable data, but this is not always the case.
When you return to the site at a later date, this cookie sends information to the site so that it recognizes your browser and, for example, remembers your preferred language. Some cookies also enable certain functions on a website or measure how visitors use our website so that we can use this information to optimize the website.
Cookies often have an expiry date, which means they are automatically deleted after a certain period of time. Some cookies are deleted immediately after you close your browser, such as session cookies, while others remain on your device for a longer period, sometimes even until you manually delete them (so-called persistent cookies).
What types of cookies do we use and why?
Contraste, the operator of this website, uses two types of tracking mechanisms on www.contraste.com :
- Technical cookies that are strictly necessary;
- Analysis cookies.
Contraste uses strictly necessary cookies to manage the content of its website. These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of this website. It is not possible to refuse these cookies if you wish to visit our websites.
Contraste also uses “Google Analytics” for analytical purposes. If you give us your consent, certain data will be used to generate statistics. In particular, this enables us to see how many times a particular page has been read. We only use this information to improve the content of our website, or as the basis for a new campaign on a certain topic of high interest.
